Yes, Escape Velocity floats very well. Last night was a comedy of errors and second guessing but she looked after us and we woke up this morning well rested and dry. These are positive results.
Marce with the keys:
Our first dinner aboard. Many thanks to Roger & Danielle for the wine and flowers, very thoughtful. Izzy “Adventure Kitty” Katzenbaum is seen here practicing her nonchalant gaze, a born sailor if I ever saw one.
And now a new feature to the blog, we call it “The view from the back porch”
Our view of Sunset Bay Marina in Stuart, Florida. We’ll try to keep you up to date with what we’re seeing with The View From the Back Porch. Our crack Tech Team will have the locater map up soon.
Fair Winds, Escapees
Waking up dry is good! Same for being able to find the keys after the first night aboard!
As for you “escapees”: Marce, you do look rested, bright eyed and ready to go! Izzy isn’t showing face ~ assume she’s a late sleeper.
So glad your crack Tech Team will be getting the locater map up so that while you may want to escape, we will be able to find you ….. that’s how it works, right?
Fair Winds, my dear escapees ~ but not until you are ready to hoist sail.
Cheers, from your maine contingent of 1
FINALLY and so exciting! Keep me posted and how about a photo of captain Izzy!
Wow! It’s a dream come true. We are so happy for you guys! How long will you be staying in Stuart?
